Stan Doobin, president and owner of Harvard Maintenance, is also the president of the World Federation of Building Service Contractors. This group--which BSCAI is a member of--consists of building service contractors around the world who share experiences, advice and best practices surrounding commercial cleaning. 

Recently, the WFBSC launched its new newsletter, WFBSC Exchange, and sat down with Doobin to discuss tackling COVID-19 and leading with purpose. A long-time BSCAI member (and past president), Doobin said it's more important than ever that BSCs look to their global peers for guidance.

"We need the opportunity to meet in person to discuss issues that affect us and see what solutions exist in other countries," he said. "The learning process goes both ways, and it is important that every BSC shares [his or her] knowledge with other BSCs from around the world."
