The Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCAA) is proud to host Women in Leadership events each March to recognize and empower females in our industry. The annual observances celebrate the significance of women in top roles and the impact they have in driving change and achieving success.
However, even as women have made significant progress and their contributions are many, challenges such as gender bias, unequal pay, and lack of representation in leadership positions persist. BSCAA’s Women in Leadership programs provide a platform to also discuss these and other setbacks and to explore ways to overcome them while cultivating a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Keynote speakers dissect their own experiences and perspective on navigating the corporate world as a woman, overcoming adversity, and achieving success. Panel discussions offer attendees an opportunity to engage with BSC leaders, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into the industry's trends and challenges. Meanwhile, networking opportunities enable attendees to connect with peers, build relationships, and expand their professional networks.

March 15, 2024: In New South Wales, attendees gathered for a powerful and thought-provoking session on leadership by Tracy Cooper, Change Specialist. The luncheon in Sydney was billed as a powerful networking opportunity to honor female leaders and professionals who are realizing success and making a difference in the service industry.

BSCAA members welcomed the three events for giving them an outlet to connect with and learn from other women in the industry, to support one another, and to inspire each other to reach their full potential.
