The World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) hosted the 2024 Global Executive Summit from May 14-15 in Amsterdam, which proved a resounding success as the premier event curated for global leaders from building service and facility maintenance contracting organizations.
The Summit hosted attendees from 14 countries, including executive leaders from ABM, Bee-Clean Building Maintenance, GDI, ISS, Principle Cleaning Services, The Budd Group and more.
“The 2024 Global Executive Summit was a fantastic opportunity to bring the industry together to connect and set each other up for future success,” said Stan Doobin, CEO of Harvard Maintenance, Inc. and 2024 WFBSC President. “By facilitating opportunities for members to connect, members collaborate and discuss ideas that bring the industry forward.”
Attendees expressed their appreciation for the event’s ability to bring executives together to exchange best practices, explore industry trends and better understand the needs of customers. The event’s two-day format allowed them to maximize engagement with WFBSC programming and with exhibitors at Interclean Amsterdam.
“WFBSC Global Executive Summit was a phenomenal experience,” stated Steve Shuchat, CEO of Clean All Services and Global Executive Summit attendee. “I felt very welcome, and I had a great time meeting wonderful BSCs from all over the world.”
Summit sessions included an overview of how companies can adapt to the Gen Z workforce, deep dives into sustainability in the contract cleaning space, perspectives on leadership, technology trends for the commercial cleaning industry, featuring speakers from Principle Cleaning Services, Coor Sweden, Karcher, and Diversey, among others.
Following the success of the 2024 Global Executive Summit, WFBSC sets its sights on its next event, the first Global Executive Congress since the pandemic. The organization will bring global leaders together in Auckland, New Zealand from March 12-13, 2025.
